Dave’s mom has a fun tradition of hanging baby shoes on her Christmas tree as decorations. As such, she gifts each of her grandkids with shoes as an infant. Once they grow out of them, they are returned to her to take their place on the Christmas tree.
I think its a pretty neat tradition. Besides, tiny baby shoes are so adorable… what a better ornament is there?

And… he’s nearly grown out of them already. His little toes reach clear to the end! Oh my.
Cute! I love baby socks too. I like to look at the shoes but I don’t like to put them on. Hence why BriLynn never wears shoes.
I like the look of baby shoes too, but my kids wouldn’t wear them if it weren’t for Grandma’s shoe tree. I don’t mind putting them on, but they just don’t seem like a practical sort of purchase to me. 🙂 And yes, socks are cute too!
