For those of you that may not already know, we found out in November that I am pregnant again. I called and setup an appointment for early December and it was then that I found out that I was already nearly 18 weeks along…
Yes, it was a bit of a surprise. (The good kind of surprise though).
But I have to admit that it was kind of nice to have basically skipped the first third of my pregnancy, and to be able to find out gender at my first appointment. Its a girl, by the way!!
I had a quick unofficial ultrasound then, at my first appointment, and came back a couple of weeks later for the official 20-week thing. It was still a girl then… 🙂
She didn’t seem to want to show us her face, the little brat, but here are a couple of pictures anyway…
I am currently 28 weeks pregnant – officially in my final trimester. The baby is due on May 10th – which also happens to be my sister’s birthday. We are currently thinking Brooklyn for a name… its the name that’s stuck the best so far, so we’ll see what happens, I guess.
Anyway, we are (as I’m sure you can imagine) getting pretty anxious to get our house finished so we can get settled in there. As it is, the house isn’t slated to be finished until the end of June at the earliest… so we are anticipating a couple months of chaos right after this baby is born! 3 kids in a 2 bedroom apartment should be interesting too… ha.
ADVENTURE, JAMIE, ADVENTURE!!! (Name that movie)

Congrats! I can’t believe so much time went by without you even knowing. BTW, I love the name Brooklyn.
I like the name Brooklyn too. You should post pictures on how the house is coming. Oh and if you said “Adventure is out there” I would say UP but just adventure, I have no clue.

Wow, congrats! I’m so excited for you guys! That means that you are only 11 days behind me. We’re having a girl too. But, we can’t seem to come up with a name yet, so you’re ahead of us on that one!
When I googled for “Adventure, Jamie, Adventure!” I came up with an IMDB page for “Fluppy Dogs (1986)(TV).”
